One of just over 200 built in the mid 1970s by Vauxhall. It was the beginning of their experimentation with aerodynamics, the sloping front grafted onto a standard Firenza coupe shell made a big difference to the look of the car, and went on to shape the front of future models such as the Chevette and Cavalier.
It was also the first product Vauxhall fitted with a five speed gearbox as standard, it also featured modifications to the engine and suspension compared to the earlier cars, and featured an interior trimmed in light grey cloth. All were painted silver from the factory.
The only visible modification to the car is the fitting of a Britax folding sunroof, this was fitted when the car was just twelve weeks old so is a period modification.
